OUR HISTORY

Who would have thought that the Alpino's colours would emerge in a family toy factory. The origin of Alpino begins in 1933 in Anglès (Girona) when the Masats brothers used the pieces of wood that were left over from the toys factory where they worked and, in their kitchen, they made the first pencils and colored leads.

After a bumpy start, in 1942 the business became a success. And it was in 1943 when the legendary Alpino brand was founded. In 1946 they moved to Barcelona and it was at this time that Alpino began to stand out for its new designs, brands and communication strategies.

Alpino has managed to be present in Spanish homes and schools for generations. Today, Alpino has become a benchmark in the world of Stationery for its high level of quality and for its constant evolution in its products.

THINGS WELL DONE

QUALITY AND SAFETY

At Alpino we have qualified and experienced personnel in the stationery and artistic crafts sector. All our products go through rigorous controls in our laboratory, where we follow strict security and continual improvement processes, which include tests and adjustments being implemented throughout the production process.

In addition to an independent control, both of semi-finished products and of the final product, carried out by our quality department, based on the application of AQL (Acceptable Quality Levels).

We also elaborate our products with quality raw materials, acquired from suppliers of recognized solvency, we carry out constant analyzes in independent laboratories that certify that they all comply with the European EN71 safety regulations and ensure their safety.
